Felt like writing a journal and rambling since it's been more than a year since my last journal... which is normal for me sadly.
So I'm on Maui taking care of my Grandma, more like hanging out with her and having fun. It is like 12:30 which is like 3:30 my time and oh my god we are getting up early tomorrow to go to the ocean and I forgot... yay for looking forward to being sleep deprived in the morning.
It's nice because today I was sketching with pen (I rarely do this) on a large, lined, yellow notepad. I brought my sketchbook along but i just felt like drawing random things today, and I did. The moral of this story is that it felt great to draw whatever I was randomly (I hate when two of the same word are right next to each other (I'm referring to the two randoms by the way)) inspired by. I feel like I haven't had a spontaneous sketching session for a very long time and it was very refreshing to draw for my own amusement again. And I followed a certain deviant's advice (a deviant that doesn't know I exist XP) of using the entire paper instead of having just one drawing occupying a page... which I do... a lot But anyways, I really like how my completely unrelated sketches look all running into each other and I am totally going to do this from now on, yay!
What really inspired me to write this journal is that I need to update my account or at least put in something meaningful like fanart XD hah (OR SOMETHING WITH A BACKGROUND). I have this Eyeshield 21 meme that I'm halfway done with and really need to finish so I can have something deviantart-ish in my account. Someday... I will have stuff.
Well I'm tired now and have forgotten anything else I wanted to say.
I realize that all my friends are going to get a notification that I wrote this... sorry for inconveniencing you if you felt compelled to read this. I guess I was writing mostly for myself even though it sounds like I'm addressing an audience. But that's how I write this things.

At least I didn't do a Captain's Log entry Stardate .... because I totally did that earlier this summer in a cabin journal log thing at my friends place in Tahoe. That was fun. I was Kirk. I shall look back and always be able to remember that moment because I wrote it down here. *smiles* I am such a nerd...
